Q. Why is infrared heat better, and is Far infrared the same as infrared?
A. Infrared heat is a range of heat based on a micron scale that emulates the sun. if you envision a bar scale; on the far left you have gamma rays. On the far right you have microwaves. Somewhere north of center you have what's called infrared rays. There is near, medium and far infrared categories on this micron scale. The far infrared range of 7-14 microns is the most beneficial.
